Invite Team Members
Give teammates access to your Spare Dashboard for development and support.
Bring your team into the Spare Dashboard so engineers, support staff, and finance can collaborate on the same sandbox and production environment without sharing credentials.
Dashboard-only
Team management happens in the Spare Dashboard, there is no public API for inviting members. App ID / API key credentials remain separate from dashboard user accounts.
Roles
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
Owner | Full access, including billing and deleting the organization. One per account. |
Admin | Manage the account, API keys, team members, webhooks, connections, and consents; run and view verifications. |
Developer | Manage API keys and webhooks; view connections, consents, logs, and verification results. Built for engineers integrating the API. |
Agent | Run and view verifications; view connections, consents, and logs. Day-to-day operations without credential or team management. |
BasicAgent | Run core verifications and manage customer records and requests; view logs and analytics. |
Open team settings
Sign in to the Spare Dashboard and go to Settings β Team.
Send an invite
Enter the teammate's email address and choose a role. They receive an email invitation to create an account and join your organization.
Confirm access
Invited members appear as Pending until they accept. Once accepted, their role determines which dashboard sections and environments (sandbox / production) they can access.
Least privilege
Grant Admin only to teammates who manage credentials, team, or billing. Use Developer for engineers integrating the API, and Agent or BasicAgent for operations staff who run verifications and handle customer requests.
Key takeaways
- Team invites are managed in the dashboard, not the API.
- Roles range from full ownership down to scoped operational access.
- Keep credential sharing to a minimum, invite teammates instead of sharing an API key.
